Established in the year 1956, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) is an autonomous organisation under the department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. It is regarded as one of the important Scientific Industrial R& D organizations with a network of 37 lab/institutes all over the country.  CSIR operates as an autonomous body registered under the Registration of Societies Act of 1860. The research and development activities of CSIR includes various fields of activities such as aerospace engineering, Structural engineering, ocean sciences, Life sciences, metallurgy, chemicals, mining, food, petroleum, leather, and environment. CSIR invites applications from eligible candidates for Combined Administrative Services Examination (CASE) 2013 for the recruitment to the positions of Assistants in different cadres mentioned below. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate must be Graduate from a recognized University & Age Limit (as on 31 December 2012) is Maximum 28 years, Concession is criteria is 33 years for SC/ST/ PH/ Ex-servicemen and 31 years for OBC.

 

Important Dates to remember:

Last Date for Online application is 10th Jan 2012 till 5.30 pm, however It should be extended as the online application link is not working due to some technical issues.
