VTU is among the biggest Technological University present in India, It has around 194 colleges under it with UG course in 28 disciplines and PG Programme in 71 disciplines. The intake for UG is about 67K students & for PG is around 12000 students.

- Professor – 86 Posts
- Associate Professor – 37 Posts
- Assistant Professor – 25 Posts
