Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has issued a notification for the IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2012-2013. This is called CWE-II for Clerk Grade. There will be 20 public sector banks which will be participating instead of 19 in previous years exam. The newly added bank is IDBI Bank which accepts IBPS CWE score card for the selection of clerical cadres from this year.
From this year onwards IBPS will organize online written exam. Online exam will be conducted in December 2012. All the successful applicants of the IBPS CWE-II will have to undergo a Common Interview conducted by IBPS. Depending on the final score (which will have score of Written + Interview) candidates will be called to join only any one bank based on the preference of banks given by candidates while filling the form. If the candidate will not join that particular selected bank then vacancy will be unfilled and this vacancy will be filled from the remaining selected candidates which are present in waiting list.
Candidates don’t need to apply for the individual banks after the exam. Candidates will get the desired banks as per the score & availability of the seats in the different banks
